About our tools...
Have you ever wondered what kind of wrenches your mechanic uses? Probably not. Our tools are likely no different, but because they'll be so imperative to the success of your wedding reception or other important event, why not take a moment to ensure they're the best. We only rely on professional equipment, your event deserves nothing less.
We utilize powerful, compact state of the art speakers (Electro Voice, Mackie, QSC or JBL) with internal amplifiers, lifted on stands for rich sound dispersion to every corner of the room. The benefit of this type of speaker is two fold; The amplifiers are matched and tuned specifically to the speakers, ensuring the most pristine, beautiful sound. This also allows for less bulky equipment which in our opinion, can be quite an eyesore.

A Note About Presentation...
We understand the thought and effort that was put into the decor of your reception. This comes into play with every detail of our presentation. We make every effort to keep it as low profile as possible. Our sound system is streamlined, and our accessories and case lids are tucked away neatly whenever possible. We make every effort to neatly wrap cables to stands, and hide unsightly wires. We'll also dress appropriately for your event. Whether it's formal or casual, we believe a DJ and equipment should blend in, and not bring an eyesore to an otherwise beautiful event.
We use only modern, intelligent LED lighting. The level of dance lights at your event is entirely up to you. We can keep it subtle with an updated version of the classic mirror-ball effect, which is a low-profile classy choice. Alternatively, we can provide state of the art intelligent LED lights synced together that move with the music and motivate the crowd. Whichever you decide, we try to keep our lights as low profile as possible, without the large trussing systems and messy wires that clutter up an otherwise beautifully decorated reception.

Without a competent Disc Jockey, who also serves as the jovial host of your party, the equipment really doesn't do much. Equally comfortable at the helm of the controls, as out in the spotlight making your most important announcements and introductions, CNY Select DJs are outgoing, friendly, and held to the highest standards. We go the extra mile to coordinate with your other vendors to ensure formalities are timely and organized. The presentation of your wedding reception will be a carefully orchestrated event, conducted by a professional who's goal is for everything to seamlessly flow.
